At the final Executive meeting for the 2021/22 season, the impact of Covid-19 on our Under-12 membership was reviewed and discussed.
Based on regular season ice time allocations at each division, versus the actual ice times provided at each division due to Covid restrictions, the impact on player registration fees was calculated as follows:
o U7: $40 (all players eligible)
o U9: $40 (all players eligible)
o U11: $50 (all players eligible)
o U13: $50 (only players born in 2010 eligible)
o U15: N/A
o U18: N/A
o U21: N/A
It was agreed that amounts outlined above will be issued as a credit towards each eligible player’s registration fees for the 2022/23 season. (Credits can be applied during the on-line registration process)
If an eligible player is not registering for the 2022/23 season, players can make alternate arrangements for reimbursement, via the RMHC Executive Director. (rmhcexecdir@gmail.com)
The above amounts and approach are consistent with the policies implemented by other associations in this area.
