The user groups are working with the Town to ensure that kids can remain on the ice, however, the covid situation is fluid and constantly changing based on guidelines from the province. Patience from our volunteers, players and parents is necessary manage our way through this season.
Here is the update for tonight and the rest of the weekend:
- all ice time will start at their scheduled time but will only be 45 minutes in duration
- teams can enter 15 minutes before their scheduled time and must clear the building immediately once practice is over (need to be out within 15 minutes)
- players are to arrive mostly dressed
- dressing rooms are closed
- no spectators
- U7 will not have ice times this weekend
- U9 and U11 - parents can enter to get child ready but must then leave the building. At the end of the 45 minute practice they can re-enter to pick up their child
- U13 and up - no parents in the building
- team managers can remain in the building as they are part of the official roster
- contact tracing must be done as always for each ice time
Let's get through this weekend under these directives and then there will probably be changes next week.
