Town of Riverview Ice Rentals

Looking for a safe and family-oriented activity this holiday season? Look no further than a half-surface rental at the Byron Dobson Arena!  You and your household can book half of an ice surface to yourselves for skating, practice or hockey.
 
Cost:  $50.00 (HST included)
 
Getting Prepared…

• Proof of vaccination or exemption for those 12 and up is required
• Arrival/departure – 15 minutes prior/after scheduled time
• Use the entrance that is closest to your ice surface (upper/lower)

Upon Arrival…

• A parent or guardian must be present throughout and show proof of payment at door
• Continuous mask-use is required, except on the ice surface (although recommended)
• Use spectator benches to put skates on, dressing rooms not available.
• No food or drinks permitted within the arena

On the Ice…

• Everyone must wear skates and helmets. No boots or -strollers are permitted on the ice.
• A designated washroom is available for each half-surface.
• The ice will be divided in half, with one net on your side.
• No additional equipment is provided, but you can bring your own puck (1), sticks and skate aids.
• The ice will not be refreshed between each rental, but periodically through the day.
