U9 Tiering - Evaluation Team Rosters and Ice Times2022-10-14
Hockey New Brunswick has introduced a new model for players at the 7 & 8 year old age level (U9). Rather than being tiered by year of birth, players will be tiered based on their skill level "to ensure that players are having fun every time they are on the ice."
Players will be evaluated during on-ice sessions beginning on October 15th and placed in either:
U9-1 (Level 1 - Developmental)
U9-2 (Level 2 - Intermediate)
Per HNB, 50% of the U9 teams must be in each level. Based on the current registration numbers we will have two teams in U9-1 and two teams in U9-2.

U9 evaluation will take place this weekend. Players will remain in the same Black and White groups as they have been in all preseason, however, the groups will be split into teams for scrimmages.

Sunday 5:15pm Upper
White Group
Saturday 11:15am Upper
Saturday 5:30pm Upper
Sunday 6:30pm Upper
